This is a Spanish built version of the Me-109. Instead of the fuel injected German Daimler-Benz engine, it contains a British built Rolls-Royce engine.  This plane was so successful, that after the end of the war, Czechoslovakia and Spain continued to build these planes.  Like this one, some were fitted with British Merlin engines.
